LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION #1
May 29, 2007
Subject: Letter of Recommendation for Ms Leslie Fisher
To Whom It May Concern:
Leslie worked under my supervision for several years. Her responsibilities included all the normal duties of a general manager and many duties as an area manager. She readily helped with some clerical and office duties. During the course of her employment, Leslie proved herself to be an able employee, a hard worker, and a trusted friend.
I was quite impressed by Leslie' ability to complete all work assigned to her on time, if not before it was due. Overall, Leslie is a very conscientious and able employee. I certainly believe she has what it takes to make a wonderful manager. I strongly recommend Leslie for any position she is interested in.
And she is talented; her writing skills, computer skills and her command of the English language is inspiring in today’s market.
Leslie has always been able to see order in complete chaos and remain calm and focused while everyone else is not. Probably due to her incredible sense of humor.
I have owned my own businesses for 30 years and have rarely seen someone with the abilities possessed by Leslie. If I ever decided to own my own business again, I would hire her in a minute.
If you are reading this letter then it means that Leslie is interested in a position with your company. I could not recommend her more highly; she would be an asset to your company or any company. Hire her on the spot.... you will not regret it.
Sincerely,
Harry A
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION #2
June 16, 2007
To Whom It May Concern:
This is in response to Leslie Fisher’s request for a letter of recommendation. I have known Leslie for the last 8 years.
Leslie is a hard-working self-starter who invariably understands exactly what a project is all about from the outset, and how to get it done quickly and effectively. Leslie is a resourceful, creative, and solution-oriented person who was frequently able to come up with new and innovative approaches to her assigned projects. I have watched Leslie at work, she functioned well as a team player when required, and she also worked effectively as a team member under the direction of other team leaders.
On the interpersonal side, Leslie has superior communication skills. She gets along extremely well with staff under her supervision, as well as colleagues at her own level. She is highly respected, as both a person and a professional, by colleagues, employees, suppliers, and customers alike.
In closing, as detailed above, based on my experience knowing her, I can unreservedly recommend Leslie Fisher to you for any intermediate or senior management position.
Sincerely,
Cameron C
CHARACTER REFERENCE
April 21, 2007
To whom it may concern:
Re: Character Reference - Leslie Fisher
The purpose of this letter is to provide a character reference for Ms. Leslie Fisher, whom I have known as a classmate, roommate, and friend for a period of twenty five years.
I first met Leslie in our freshman year at College. We were both studying a general arts program there and became acquainted through a number of common classes. By our second year, we had become friends and decided to take an off-campus apartment together. We shared that living arrangement until we both graduated.
Accordingly, having gotten to know Leslie so well over the years, I believe puts me in a position to provide you with a pretty accurate assessment of her character.
As a student, Leslie was a hard-working and highly committed to her education. In addition, she was quite involved in a number of extra-curricular activities. Outgoing, and always willing to help someone out, Leslie was very popular with her fellow students.
As a roommate, Leslie was a great choice. She was very neat and tidy at all times and she liked things in the apartment to be kept orderly.
As a friend, Leslie Fisher is a standout. She is a loyal, honest, considerate, and supportive individual who has the ability to see and understand things from another person's perspective. She is a great direct communicator and knows how to raise and discuss common living issues and problems in a non-threatening manner. She likes to have fun too. During our many many years of friendship we maintained an ongoing friendly friendship through thick and thin.
To tell the truth, I really can't think of anything on the negative side when it comes to Leslie. All in all, I would have to say that Leslie Fisher is a fine, well-balanced person with an abundance of positive qualities.
Sincerely,
MaryAnn O
